Definition of Humanism
Joe Howard -We can discover humanist thoughts over humanism 2,000 years ago in ancient India, China, and Greece. Humanist wondering have become more and more popular at some stage in a length referred to as the Enlightenment inside the 18th century. Many of the thinkers who have been influential on humanism would not have used the phrase ‘humanist’ to describe themselves. However, their approach to answering questions and making choices without the need for religion method that many humanists today see them as a part of the humanist culture.
Throughout recorded records there were non-religious people who have believed that this lifestyles is the only life we’ve got, that the universe is a herbal phenomenon with no supernatural side, and that we will live moral, meaningful, and satisfying lives on the premise of cause and humanity. They have relied on to the clinical method when trying to recognize how the universe works, made their ethical decisions based on a challenge for the welfare of humans and different sentient animals, and sought to make a positive contribution towards building a higher society.
